The Best Week Ever!!

So this past week was the best week ever. My 2 best friends from back home came and stayed the week in Orlando. Michelle came with Mike and they have a time share on I-Drive and Mary decided to tag along which was awesome. I saw them pretty much everyday of the week. They freaked out when they saw Tessa. Michelle was there was she was first born in the delivery room but Mary had never seen here except for in pics. They loved her to pieces and who wouldn't???

Tessa turned 4 months on the 10th of June and she weighs 15.5 now and 25 inches that's my girl all boobies milk at that. Her sleeping habits are good at night but not during the day anymore she takes cat naps which makes he fussy during the day for grandma. She had her first pool day this past weekend she loved it I don't think she knew what to think o the water of the water though she loves the bath but this was a Big bath for her.

I am very excited we are planning a trip to go back to Mass in Aug. And what would you know that my 10 year class reunion is going to be the time right around when we go there ( which I planned around)

So Behind

Yeah, Yeah I know I am so behind on my blog page but it's like I can't even go to the bathroom anymore without the baby fussing. I am a few mins now because she is taking a nap. Which I know it's 7:30 at night and she's napping please she has been a BRAT!! all afternoon she gets like that when she is exhausted. So my 2 of my best friends are coming next week I am so excited they are pretty happy to they get to see Tessa.

Typical Sunday we didn't do much just hung around went to breakfast at my favorite place Perkins and then we came home and wash both cars because they were so dirty in between taking care of the crying and fussy baby!!! And then we are winding down the weekend going into the work week. bo ho. I hate Monday's but they usually go by fast for me. This week should go by pretty quick we have a inspection from the city this week for Arnold Palmer Hospital so I am helping the interior designer show all the guys were to put the furniture in the new space.

As my sister in law would say hope ya'll have a good week!!!

Long Weekend

I am so glad it is a long weekend. I need a day off well I don't really have a day off but from work. But then again work has been my get a way these days. We have not really done anything this weekend we went to a Mexican dinner last night at Nydia's brothers house. We had a lot of fun he is crazy!!!! I got my hair cut short because well I was just tired of it being in the stage where you can't do anything to it. So Friday we got out of work early I called my hair dresser and we did it it looks fabulous I have gotten many complainants on it I will post a picture on the web. It will be so much easier to blow out. Look above and that is what my hair looks liek but without the bangs.

Man if it rains any more his week we will be swimming in Florida. First we were in a major drought now we are flooding. June 1st is hurricane season (Here I am rock like a hurricane). I can not wait to see American idol tonight I am so excited I hope Adam wins one of the guys at work thinks Erik will win but I don't think so. Tessa is becoming a big girl she is starting to sit up by herself and she holds her head up very well. This weekend is a long weekend man do I need it. We have no plans just the way I like it. Last weekend was to crazy!!! Hope everyone has a good rest of the week.

For a first time mom I had the best day on Sunday ever. First I got flowers at work on Friday then I got 14K gold earrings for my second hole and we went to my favorite place in the world Texas DE Brazil. Man was that good then Rob said let go shopping since we didn't have the baby at the time. We went to the international outlets and I got a bargain on a coach bag that I LOVE!!!!!!!! And I got some clothes to. But by far it was a good day. On Saturday we went to our friends house Ana and Marcos from Lamaze class and we had dinner with them and another couple. Tessa loved every minute of it one of the little boys (Nils) his daddy was head over heels in love with Tessa. We took some pics they came out cute. This up coming weekend we are going to a cookout and having a girl play date with some other moms and dads that will be fun to.

Happy Friday!!!!

First of all I want to say Happy Birthday to my Sister in Law Kristen who turned 28 yesterday. (Your getting up there with the best of us girl) This week came fast before Wednesday and then slowed down after the hump day. Thank Goodness it's the weekend. We are going to try something with Tessa today FORMULA!!! She is going to get bumped up to 4 1/2 ounces with breast milk but because I don't think I will be able to produce that much milk when she goes through 4 bottles a day we are going to put one of them as formula as a supplement. Hopefully 4.5 will make her happy and if not then she will have to go to 5 ounces. Man what a little piggy. I am going to download some pics and send them out today since my boss is on Vacation for the next 2 weeks YEAH!!!!! Hope everyone has a good weekend!!!!!!

Long Time

I have slacking on this blog. Finally another weekend has arrived and I am able to sit and write for a few. This past Saturday we went to Aqutica the water park with Rob's family the baby stayed behind since she is still to little to come out. But we had fun lots of fun in the sun!! The only thing was when you came out from the water man was it cold with the wind. Then after that we went and had a little cookout at Nydia's brother house. They are the ones that were watching Tessa and loved every minute of it. They said that she was the best baby ever of Course look who her MOM is !!!!!!!!!!! Another work week coming up and my 2 best friends are coming in June for a week which I am so excited about. It will be Mary's first time seeing Tessa she is very excited.. We will have fun. I might be able to take one day off but if not then we have the weekends and I can see them after work!!!!!!

Man this week flew by. With going back to work and getting a routine down it's been a slight challenge. But I must say that everything is going well I don't have time during the week like I used to to clean my house but that is what the weekends are for. Tessa and I had some Mommy and her time tonight. Rob went out with the guys and had some oysters and we just hung out and I cleaned and she swung in the swing like a good little girl she is. Now she is fast asleep she will hopefully be sleeping through the night again like she has been for this past week that would be great and if not then that's ok I don't have to get up tomorrow and go to work.

Tomorrow in the morning she will be having Daddy time while Mommy goes and does and some things before a baby shower that we are attending to in the afternoon. Then Sunday looks like a relaxing day and just preparing for another work week.

Back to Work

So just wanted to give a quick update. Went back to work on Monday and this is why I have not been able to write anything that and I can't get this website at work. Everything is going well we are getting into a routine. Tessa is sleeping through the night (knock on wood) and is doing well being away from Mommy. Grandma is taking really good care of her!!!! I have pics to post which I will be able to do this weekend for now Tessa is getting hungry.

Oh and one more thing she is rubbing her eyes now. New things we see everyday.

Last Day :0(

So today was our last Tea day we were not the only ones though that were leaving. Tessa weighed in at 12 10 today and they told me that babies double there birth weight between 4-6 months well she is about to double it by the time she hits 3 months. My god!! We stopped by work also while we were down there all the ladies loved here and said how cute she was.

So if you have a baby out there or know of a little one. You should look into buying leg warmers for them they are the cutest things that I have ever seen and of course I had to by some for Tessa in memory of mommies dancing and teaching days. Which when she gets bigger I will be putting her in.

Terrible Day!!

So today was the worst day!! Like I said in the previous blog that we went and got our jeep fixed on Saturday well it started to make noises and I brought it in this morning. It turned out that the right strut was defaulted and they had to order one which was all the way in Altomonte Springs now for those of you who don't know where that is it's about 45 mins from Orlando. So here Tessa and I are again in the mall at 10 am and didn't leave until 4pm.. Yeah tell me about it but she was a great baby she slept most of the time. And mommy shopped a little since I am going back to work I have to look somewhat good. ( I do have about 30 more pounds to go) like everyone says it takes time I don't think so when I go back to work it will be alot better controlling myself eating.

I can't believe it I went to Tea today and weighed Tessa and she is 12 pounds 6 ounces!!! She will be 2 months on Friday!!!! Yikes.. She is going to be like her cousin Griffin but that's ok when you see them you won't be able to resist kissing there Cheeks!!! I dressed her up today it was very very windy out good day for jeans. She goes to the Dr's on friday to get some of her shots she will not be coming out a happy camper.

This past weekend was a ok weekend. So I told you about going to sears to drop off our Jeep well let me tell you I don't know what they did but now it is making nosies. So it will have to go back and they will have to look at it to see what they did wrong. I am hoping it is not another 3 hours because I may have to go myself and I can't last 3 hours in the mall with a breast feed baby who hates being in her car seat!!

A week from today I go back to work. Everyone is asking me if I can leave her if I will be ok. I won't lie I probably will cry after dropping her off but once I get to work because I will have so much to do the day will fly by. Now we just are going to all have to get into a routine.

So let me start by saying that we went to the mall today to go to sears to drop the Jeep off to get struts on it and it took for-ever and with a newborn walking the mall for 4 hours was not that delightful. Granted she was good at times but she hates being in the car seat she does not like to be strapped down what so ever. Luckily I go prepared with my breast milk in the bottle. But I only brought one bottle and had to feed her twice in the Motherhood store which they encourage mothers to do anyways.

I guess it is better than moving my whole house (Sorry Kristen, my sister in law) is moving this weekend which I don't like either so I feel your pain. I think the only good thing about it is being able to go through everything and throw things out that you don't need or use anymore. But the unpacking is a pain and putting everything away that is a different story!!

Other than that not to much is going on the rest of the weekend. This is my last week of not working so I will have to enjoy every minute of it!!!!

Play Date

Today we had a play date with our friend Sydney. She came over with her mommy Roxy and we all had lunch together and played. We then went to visit Ciaro who was the only boy born with the group of friends that I have down here how funny is that. He is very cute he is exactly 1 week younger than Tessa. He is so long he looks like a worm. He can't hold his head up just yet but Tessa is becoming very stronger and can hold her head up very well now a days. She head butts you know if you don't watch out and let me tell you it can hurt sometimes. After our visit with Ciaro and his mommy Sara we went to Target with Roxy and Sydney and spent a few things while we were there. Tomorrow night will be exciting the Prime Outlets here are having a food and wine tasting outside of the stores from 5-10. And the best thing of all is that it's FREE!! We love free things now a days.

We are going to met Sydney's parents there also. Oh yeah Tessa slept very well last night she went down at 10 and woke up at 3:45 an then around 6 and then 8:45 Mommy was a happy camper with her sleeping patterns last night. Every night is different from the next.

Yes I know I am up Really really early. Tessa was up at 7 and now the little stinker is falling asleep on her activity gym. So now that mommy is awake and probally can not go back to sleep she will. This morning I pumped and my milk from my right breast came out looking like strawberry milk weird right? Don't ask....

So today is April 1st and who really does April Fool's anymore half the time I forget. I do like playing tricks on Rob though just to mess with him. hahaha!! We have nothing scheduled for today just a lazy hump day.

So who watched American Idol last night it was alright no one stood out for me really. And it's so hard to tell who is going all the way to the end. I do hope that Megan gets voted off. (that's the one with the big tat down her arm) She does not sing the right song and she has terrible stage presence she just stands there moving her arms.Let me know what you think out there!!!!

Rainy Tuesday

Today was a good day Tessa slept most of the day and I took a little nap with her in the afternoon. Got some laundry done today. Tessa has a play date on Thursday with Miss Sydney which we are looking forward to. Then on Friday we are supposed to go to a food and wine tasting at the outlets on I drive that will be fun. Saturday I am getting my hair colored thank goodness it soo needs it.

Just another Thursday

Where do I start last night we went to a going back to work breast pumping class which was very helpful. There was other women there from my Tea class on Monday's that we go to. I brought Tessa with me because she is starting to cluster feed at night time and while she is happy mommy is not I can not get off the couch from 6-9 it is CRAZY!!! But the only good thing out of it all is that she sleeps until 3 in the morning which mommy likes very much.
